Case - Structuring development programs

We created the Program Management Guide for Fokker and presented this to Airbus in the successful campaign to enable two new technologies (thermoplastics and Glare®) on the A380 program. Facilitated roll-out and expanded the approach to include Supplier Management and a detailed description of the development process. The new process includes a definition of inputs and outputs, stage gates and accountabilities. Created from 1999 onwards, clearly documented and still in use today across the whole company.
